“I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list” – Susan Sontag

Philippines

I have been working really hard lately. I sometimes get so focused into it that I forgot to relax. I think this is how I face uncertainty by being productive so I end up working 7 days a week. I began to be very hungry and ambitious. I wasn’t even like that before. I think it’s good but I need to sprinkle some fun into it. I felt something changed that I don’t want to go out anymore, dress up, put on make up. I began to feel very stressed out.

I am glad that I was introduced to vloggers in Batangas who are curious and love meeting people. I am very happy that my sissy in law Malen introduced me to them because they keep me off-balance which is good. I don’t believe in balance, there is always a trade off in life and I need them in my life. They began to introduce me to places I have never been before, the laughter, the photo shoots, the stories we shared together – I am very grateful. This is what I have been missing in my life. I can blog a lot about food now so I need to exercise more during weekdays! Please follow my vlogger friends Lipa Status and Batangas Republic. They create useful contents! 🙂

Here are the list that I have gone to and my rating for each food place. A no BS rating based on my taste. haha

1. Timplado – Lipa City

I like the ambiance and especially their Filipino delicacies. I tried their sapin-sapin (layered glutinous rice and coconut dessert in Philippine cuisine) it’s a must to try! I also like their pasta – Pomodoro bacon. I tried their coffee but I was so disappointed by the taste and their mango juice is not freshly squeezed. Their price range to 200-500 Php per meal – not bad. I would rate this 2.5 out of 5 stars – 5 being my highest.

2. Explosive Burger

Burgers are not pricey and they serve really huge burgers here. The price ranges from 68-200 Php which is not bad. I am not really fan of their patty but if I am craving for burgers, I’d probably think of going here – not my first choice though. I would rate this 2.5 out of 5 stars.

3. My Girl Milk Tea

I must say I was surprised to like this place. I am not a fan of milk tea but I fell in love with their Mango BBD (bursting bubble dot). It quenched my thirst! I will come back again! I also love how cozy the place was so I am going to rate this as 3.5 for milk tea flavor!

So far, these were the food places I have visited here in Batangas and I can’t wait to explore more with my vlogger friends!! I can’t express how happy I am to have met them.

Love,
